Watch Guns N' Roses Pay Tribute To James Brown & Glen Campbell During Edmonton Gig

August 31, 2017

As Guns N' Roses continue to dominate stadiums across their global tour, they whipped out something unheard of during their stop in Edmonton, Alberta.

Shortly after performing "Sweet Child O' Mine," Axl Rose informed the audience that they were in for a surprise. "It might not be your thing,” says Axl Rose in the video below. GNR then proceeded to perform their rendition of "Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell in tribute to the late musician who passed away in early August 2017.

But that wasn't the only unexpected surprise of the night. GNR later jammed into "I Got You (I Feel Good)" by the godfather of soul, the late James Brown, who passed away in 2006.
