The Roseville Moose Family Center is Hosting as Cancer Benefit on Saturday, May 17th beginning at 5pm at the Roseville Moose Lodge, 506 Lincoln Street in Roseville. Rock for the Cure Features Rogue, with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.
United Bikers of Northern California, Yuba-Sutter chapter will host a Soldier Down Poker Run on Saturday, May 17th beginning at 9am at the Waffle Barn, 590 Colusa Highway in Yuba City. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
“Youth Fun Fair: Heroes Support the Heart of the Community” is set for Saturday, May 17th, 2pm to 6pm in West Sacramento’s Bryte Park (Carrie Street & Todhunter Avenue). The event combines fun activities with a resource fair showcasing leadership and personal growth opportunities for young people.
The Boots & Scoots Barn Dance is set for Saturday, May 17th, beginning at 5pm at the Ride to Walk Ranch, 1630 Hwy 193 in Lincoln. Proceeds benefit Ride to Walk and their therapeutic riding program which serves children with neurological disabilities.

BloodSource will host FREE “Say Thanks Mom” Marrow Drives Monday, May 5th through Monday, May 19th, at various locations throughout the Sacramento region. During this time, people can join the registry without paying the 52 dollar fee!

The Sacramento Local Conservation Corps is hosting Breakfast on the River on Friday, June 6th, 7:30am to 9am at Discovery Park. Proceeds benefit their Education and Career Development Fund.
The 6th Annual Celebrity Chef Challenge Fundraiser is set for Friday, June 6th, 5pm to 9pm at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. Seven local chefs will compete in a timed competition with surprise ingredients in front of a live audience. Proceeds benefit In Alliance, which supports adults with developmental disabilities.
